01 Project goal
Light and heat
when the grid is down.
The goal is to preserve essential services during a difficult winter when the central grid may be unavailable for many hours or longer. We start with critical loads — lighting, communications, heating, water, lifts, pumps, medical and work equipment — and favour modular systems that are simple to operate, repair and expand.
01 · APARTMENT OWNERApartment autonomy
Keep lighting, communications, charging, refrigeration and, where possible, individual heating operational without unsafe indoor generator use.
- portable power station or safe battery system;
- LED lighting and a defined critical-appliance list;
- shared association solution for pumps, heating point, access and lifts.
Financing: own budget; shared systems through association programmes.Detailed route →02 · ASSOCIATION HEADPower for the building
Keep critical apartment-building infrastructure running through a prolonged outage.
- backup for heating, pumps, water, lighting and communications;
- solar plus storage, heat pump or generator based on calculations;
- co-owner resolution, transparent budget and operating responsibility.
Financing: Energy Support, GreenDIM and local programmes.Detailed route →03 · PRIVATE-HOME OWNERA resilient household
Maintain heating, water, lighting, communications and essential appliances without excessive fuel use.
- reduce demand and create a critical-load circuit;
- hybrid inverter, battery and phased solar-panel expansion;
- generator only as backup for long periods of low generation.
Financing: state programme for household owners.Detailed route →04 · ORGANISATION HEADOperational continuity
Preserve critical processes, safety, communications and essential services during winter outages.
- separate critical equipment from loads that can be switched off;
- modular backup with a simple maintenance schedule;
- trained staff, consumable stock and a switching plan.
Financing: business programmes, own funds or donor instruments.Detailed route → 02 Official programmes
